Density
We get it! Volume in wavy, curly and super curly hair is totally a standard expectation for us! Now, if you are indeed blessed with loads of density, then we do need to account for some extra time. Time that’s needed in the styling/drying, or in the shaping/cut or in the product that’s used. Depending on the additional density then there is an additional cost of $28-$50.
Detangling
It does come down again that we need to look at the time it takes. For us? A couple tangles, is absolutely normal for our wavy, curly, super curly guests and so we totally get! If your curls do happen to be very tangled we do charge $1 per minute for detangling. We want to be upfront! We want to have you avoid this additional cost (and avoid the time that we would have to unexpectedly manage) and so yes, we ultimately encourage you to come in as tangle-free as possible.
2nd/3rd day Wash
Your curls do not need to be 1st day washed, yet no longer than a 2nd/3rd day from washday. Come in as curly as you can do it on your own! And with your regular products in. This help us see how they sit, how they shape your face. And for our trademark Dry-Cut Curly technique service we start the shape/cut when your they are dry which also helps us be electrically clear of your spring factor and ensuring never too much gets taken off. (So no wearing it up! 😊 ) If your coming in for a colour service, then limit the amount of gel you use as well for us.
